Principles
How we account for money.
- 01Gifts follow their designation. Under the foundation's gift acceptance policy, designated gifts go to the designated pillar and undesignated gifts are allocated by board resolution across the three pillars.
- 02We report annually. Each January the foundation publishes an annual letter on the previous year. Reconciled figures by pillar have not been published yet; when they are, they will appear on the Grants page with their source and reporting period.
- 03We don't pay staff salaries. The president and board serve without compensation.
- 04We make documents available on request. The determination letter, filings and governance policies are available to any donor or grantor who asks.
